Primary responsibilities include search marketing and all monetization initiatives for the company’s web products as well as an advisor to select clients on the subject of search marketing. Additional responsibilities include coordinating research, strategy, site envisioning, planning and requirements, user experience and conversion, web design and web development. This position is accountable for the performance of statistical and financial business objectives.
Additional requirements include: providing vision, leadership and management to the web strategies team consisting of work study interns, web producers and web developers as well as oversight and management of the development, maintenance, content submission and marketing of the Leisure Publishing web presence including the core magazine websites and other web profit-center initiatives.
Search Marketing Consultant
Primary responsibilities include the elevation of client web products in search engine results pages and online traffic building through the use of organic search engine optimization, link building, relational schema manipulation (confidential), and other advanced organic techniques as well as pay-per-click and other pay-per performance programs. Other support functions include site audits, in house staff training, analytics monitoring, research, online reputation management and other search-related specialties.
Select past clients have included state and regional tourism agencies, higher ed, real estate brokerages, publishing companies, defense contractors, health systems and hospitals, investment partnerships and others.

Primary responsibilities involved coordinating all marketing efforts, both traditional and Internet, on behalf of the law firm. Conceptualizing new themes for advertising, discerning strengths in current advertising and measuring return on investment of all marketing efforts across all platforms. Serving as liaison between the law firm and outside advertising and media contractors including web development firms, online marketing companies and media contacts.
Senior Web Developer
ICONS, Inc. – Roanoke, VA
Initial primary responsibilities included conceptualization, layout and design of customer websites, e-business applications and content management systems. Later responsibilities included consulting with clients regarding their Internet marketing and search engine optimization needs, optimization of websites for search engine placement and implementation of Internet marketing and advertising programs for company clients. Additional responsibilities in a reciprocal partnership with another corporation included marketing, sales and product development, coordinating programming and product design with IT staff, and executive level communication.

Appointed by the Chief Judge of the 23rd Judicial Circuit to serve as an impartial judicial officer and to conduct probable cause and administrative hearings, to issue warrants of arrest, civil custody and detention orders, search warrants, civil warrants, conduct bail hearings for arrested offenders and serve the public and law enforcement agencies within the 23rd Judicial Circuit as well as other outside law enforcement agencies and various local, state and federal levels.
